Congratulations
to Mateo Colmenero, EAA 1200734, who passed his oral exam and checkride with
flying colors on Sunday, January 5!
Mateo is EAA Chapter 534’s first Ray Aviation scholarship recipient. He began his private pilot program in May with Sunair Aviation located at Leesburg International Airport (KLEE), Florida.
This news
comes just five short months after Mateo soloed on August 3, 2019.
