EAA’s Attic — B-2 Torpedo Director Sight

The B-2 Torpedo Director was an optical, illuminated sight used on U.S. Army Air Forces medium bombers. It could be installed on the A-20 Havoc, the B-25 Mitchell, and the B-26 Marauder. Although torpedo bombing was primarily assigned to U.S. Navy aircraft during World War II, U.S. Army Air Forces bombers served in the role as well, although with little success.
